Top 10 Foodie Gifts

It’s that time of year again…gift guide season! Who is pumped? *raises hand*

I love a good gift guide. Rather than having to scour the internet, I’ve done it for you. You can thank me later. In the coming weeks I’ve got tons of gift guides for you, in all categories, for all gift recipients. This year I’m doing them as top 10 ‘lists’ because why the hell not, right?! Who doesn’t enjoy a good top 10?! I know I do!

With that being said, the first of the FPTP gift guides begins right here, right now, and it’s all about the foodie in your life. So, without further ado, I bring you the top 10 foodie gifts!

Foodie Gift Guide

1. Condiment Collection (AHAlife): This gift puts Heinz to shame (no offense to whoever would take offense to said statement). If you have a friend or family member in your life who puts ketchup and/or mustard on anything and everything, this is for them. This will spruce up their condiment game like no other. Think flavored mayos, robust ketchups, piri piri sauce (no clue what that is; apparently I’m not a foodie), and more.

2. Grand Dipped Bakery Sampler (Saks Fifth Avenue): These aren’t your standard cookies and chocolate dipped treats; these are fancy schmancy and decadent in the most perfect way. This little package of goodness includes brownie bites, gourmet cookies dipped in Belgian chocolate, chocolate covered Oreo cookies, chocolate covered Nutter Butter cookies…are you salivating yet? I might be buying this one for myself (#sorrynotsorry).

3. I love Cheese Platter (Shopbop): I could easily eat cheese for every meal. Give me cheese and a Diet Coke, and I’m a happy girl. Nothing beats a good cheese plate. Am I right or am I right? So, if you have someone in your life who loves cheese, then they NEED this ‘I love cheese’ platter. It’s glass with metallic lettering in a chic meets modern way.

4. Global Hot Sauce Gift Set (World Market): Is hot sauce having a moment or is that just in my world? I’m super into spicy things lately, so this gift is right up my alley. Hot sauce makes everything better, and this set includes 10 different flavored bottles from all over the world.

5. The Mac Cheese Cookbook (Shopbop): Like I said above, cheese is my favorite, so in keeping with that theme, we’re talking mac n cheese now. If I didn’t care about my waist line, I’d eat mac n cheese nightly, no joke. I’ve never met a mac n cheese I didn’t like. All that cheesy goodness. YUM. Not that I cook all that often, BUT if I did, I’d want this cookbook and I’d totally try every recipe in it (whether or not they would turn out successful, well, that’s another story).

6. Pizza Platter (Crate & Barrel): In keeping with that whole cheese thing, pizza. Pizza pizza pizza. The nights that I’m lazy and pizza gets ordered in, it makes it much more fun and a more indulgent experience if you don’t eat it straight out of the box. So, why not get a fun little platter and elevate your pizza night?

7. Olive Oil Gift Set (AHAlife): Good olive oil makes a big difference, and while I typically wouldn’t spend this much on day to day olive oil, I think it’s a nice splurge and a special gift for the cook in your life. Apparently this stuff is award-winning, and honestly, I just love the look of the bottles. I’d probably leave them out on my counter to be quite honest.

8. Variety Popcorn Tin (Saks Fifth Avenue): Popcorn is definitely my favorite afternoon snack. Love love love it. And I know these popcorn tins might seem overdone around holiday time, but this one is a special edition tin with 5 flavors!! And these aren’t all your standard popcorn flavors. I’m talking sea salt caramel (!!), cookies and cream…YUM.

9. Carousel Italian Dinner Gift Box (World Market): How fun is this?! This is a box filled with everything you’d need to cook a delicious Italian meal. It seems fool proof, if you ask me (and I’m totally a fool in the kitchen, so take it from me). I think this is such a cute and clever idea.

10. Hawaiian Aloha Sea Salt Collection (AHAlife): I love the look of this (pretty salts in a bamboo base!) AND Oprah once named it one of her ‘favorite things.’ That’s a big deal, people. This is perfect for the person in your life who loves to cook and has mostly everything one would need to cook, because more than likely they would never buy this for him/herself. ALOHA.
