Julie Lauren is the founder of By Julie Lauren LLC, a multi-media content and services company, launched in 2013. The company provides the following services: event management/execution/coordination, talent/influencer management, content creation (freelance writing, website copy, email marketing), social media strategy and management, and website content management.

Julie’s background includes working with Oscar de la Renta, Intermix, Lox Club, and a variety of celebrities and influencers.

Julie is supremely passionate about life in all its joyful, complex messiness. Like many other ambitious young women, Julie moved to New York after college to pursue a career in fashion. A passionate writer, she started blogging in 2011 for her own enjoyment and as an escape from the grind of working in the industry, living in the city and stumbling through a series of bad dates. Writing — both her blog, her 2015 book, “Oops! An Insider’s Guide to Dating, Sex & Relationships in your 20’s,” and a work of fiction under development — eventually became a big focus.

Julie added her podcast “Hashtag No Filter” in 2017 to share honest, raw and authentic stories of women and men navigating everything that career, relationships and life throws at them during their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and beyond. Julie has real conversations with real people who are highly regarded professionally. No topic is off limits.

Julie uses the expertise she has gained as a former fashion writer and editor and through writing and producing her blogs and podcasts, as well as extensive event production experience, helping businesses and individuals.
