Monochromatic Monday (and some great gift ideas)

..and it’s back to the grind. Just like that! How was your weekend? I had a wedding of two dear friends, and let me tell you, I’m still feeling it. I can’t hang like I used to. It’s true what they say; the older you get, the worse the hangovers are. #sorryforpartying. It was an awesome weekend though, and I’m pumped because tomorrow night is my book release party and Wednesday my book will officially be available to purchase (don’t forget to enter the giveaway to win a free signed copy!)!

Anywho, back to the post at hand.

The other day Candace, Megan, and I spent a couple hours at one of my favorite local boutiques, Abejas. And if you don’t live in Houston, don’t stop reading, because you can purchase most of their products online. You may remember a couple years back I partnered with Abejas, and I was thrilled to do so again, as it truly is one of the best.

The outfit I styled rings very true to what I wear most days: jeans, a tee, and some accessories. Pretty basic, but it’s kind of like my uniform. I chose a monochromatic look with various shades of grey. I absolutely love it, if I do say so myself.

Abejas-1

Golden Goose Sneakers // Chan Luu Scarf // Ray Ban Sunglasses // Michelle Patrick Necklace // Monrow T Shirt // Laila Lapin Hat // Citizens of Humanity Jeans

I then pulled together some giftables because whether you want to believe it or not, the holiday season is here. What the what?! You never know when you’ll need a good little hostess or holiday gift, so I think stocking up for the season is the way to go.

Abejas-2

Faliero Sarti Scarf // Ray Ban Sunglasses // Vintage Charm on Bone Bracelets by Joyce Shillings // Miel de Abejas Cosmetics Case // Michelle Patrick Necklace // Maison Louis Marie Candle

If you’re local, make sure to check out Abejas in person because their assortment can’t be beat, and if you’re not a Houstonian, check out their website here.

Happy Monday, folks!
