Oh, what a night! What a night it was. Last Tuesday was the Oops! book release party, and I’m still floating high above cloud nine. I had the absolute best night, and I was overwhelmed with the support and love. It was pretty surreal.
The party was at Americas in River Oaks, and it was the perfect backdrop for the evening. The dimly lit bar, red velvet draping, dark wood, totally sexy, and totally Oops!-esque.
Family and friends came from near and far (my brother flew in from Maryland, my aunt and grandma flew in from Florida!) to celebrate, and it meant the absolute world to me that everyone came out.
Drinks were flowing, empanadas were being served, and I had cake pops flown in from Sweet E’s. I was selling and signing books, and there were ‘Don’t make an Oops! ‘condoms. Those bad boys went like hot cakes, wow. Safety first!
One of the very best moments of the night was when Megan and Candace surprised me with an epic cake! As you can see in the picture above, I was shocked, touched, and totally emotional. Most thoughtful friends EVER.
Like I said, epic. The cake was from Three Brothers Bakery, and not only did it look the part, but it tasted DELICIOUS.
My therapist came!!! LOVE her. What would I do without her?! Who the hell knows.
Overall, it was an INCREDIBLE evening and I thank you all SO much for the support. It blows me away, and I’m SO appreciative and grateful. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Now, go buy Oops! JK! No pressure, but seriously go buy it!! 😉
