Girls Night at the Movies

You may remember way back when, I told you all about my first experience at Alamo Drafthouse. Recently, I had the opportunity to go back for a girls night, hosted by Integrate Agency. We were treated to dinner, drinks, and a screening of Mean Girls. It was #sofetch. We also were provided with transportation to and from the movies on The Houston Wave, which was essentially a ‘party bus’ and reminded me of my college days for some reason.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a big movie theater go-er. I love movies, but I love watching them in the comfort of my own home, on my couch. HOWEVER, I’m all about going to movies at Alamo I’ve realized. Reason being is because it’s not just your average movie theater experience. Once you sit down in your seats, someone comes over to take your order for food and drinks. Their menu is extensive, too. It’s not just hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries (not that there is anything wrong with any of those items). The seats are comfortable and, in general, it’s simply a great experience.

Here are some photos from the night if you’d like to peruse. And thanks again to Integrate, Alamo Drafthouse, and The Houston Wave!

What I ate: bottomless popcorn (it may look like regular ol’ popcorn, but it was SO good), chicken calzone, and the most delicious warm cookies. Not pictured: wine, of course.

Bottom right photo borrowed from Brittany. We were given some goodies to help us get into the whole ‘Mean Girls’ mindset.
