On Christmas Eve, Matthew, two of our friends, and I went to the movies. I can’t tell you the last time I was at a movie theater! Crazy, I know. We went to see ‘The Gambler.’ Alamo Drafthouse was kind enough to treat us to the movies at their theater, and oh my goodness….I hadn’t been there before, and let’s just say, I’ll never go to a ‘normal’ movie theater again! First off, there’s a fabulous bar as soon as you walk into the theater (#winning) and then once you sit down in your seats (which are assigned, by the way, which makes it super easy), your food and drink order is taken. And I’m not talking a basic food menu; this menu had everything you could want and then some (still dreaming about the peanut butter milkshake I split with Matthew for dessert). We all had the best time, loved our meals (and drinks!) and the movie wasn’t so bad either. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend (or really any time), I urge you to check out Alamo Drafthouse. I can confidently say you’ll love it!

We actually just went to Alamo Drafthouse for the first time last week to see The Hobbit and we loved it! We will definitely be going back!
