Despite the rainy weather all week long, it was still a REALLY productive, good week. First, a massive THANK YOU for all of the incredible feedback on my new site. It means more to me than you know. As well, THANK YOU to those of you who came out to Market Street on Wednesday night for the Blogger Crawl. It was really fun and I loved meeting so many of you. On Tuesday, I took an incredible yoga class. I know a lot of people tell me they don’t like yoga because it’s ‘boring,’ but you guys, it’s seriously changing my life in the most amazing way. I urge you to give it another shot if you only tried it once or twice and didn’t like it. Let’s see, what else? I have a breakfast and a lunch Friday with friends I haven’t caught up with in a while, so I’m very excited for that. Hoping to get out on the boat this weekend, but the weather isn’t looking all too promising, so we shall see. Hope you all have a GREAT weekend, and enjoy some of my favorite reads and finds from the week!

The best habits for being both happy and successful.

Along with yoga, meditation is also something that’s been pretty incredible for me. I don’t do it as often as I want to, but when I do it, I notice such a difference in my mood and my day. If you’re still unconvinced as to why meditation is pretty amazing, maybe these benefits of meditation will persuade you.

Want to know what celebs put in their salads?

I got these jeans at Madewell the other night, and I’m already obsessed. They’re as comfortable as a legging, but look and feel like a jean. I’m pretty positive I’ll be wearing these all fall and winter long.

Big fan of some of these clever tiling ideas for the home.

Natural beauty around the world.

Rushing all the time like I am (or so it seems!)? Time saving beauty hacks right this way.

I might need to scoop up this little dress because I could also see myself wearing this all the time.

Beauty oils? Not sure what they do (the only oil I use is the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, which I swear by, by the way), BUT I just want to get a few of these to sit out on my counter. GORGEOUS.

I really try to get in 10,000 steps each day. While I don’t always succeed in that, I know walking is SO important and can really lift your mood, and I really do try hard to do so. If only Houston was more of a walking city!! But no excuses, I know, I know.
