The Wedding Series: Hospitality Boxes

Stuffing the hospitality boxes was quite the project, but a fun one! We ordered the actual boxes (metallic silver market trays), white crinkle confetti paper (for the bottom of the boxes), cellophane bags (for the boxes to go in), and tulle ribbons from Palmer Packaging in Houston and had those items shipped to Florida. My mother-in-law also made fabulous little gift tags which we attached to the tulle ribbon. Once in Florida, my mom and I went to Costco and bought the items for the boxes, and then we had a ‘hospitality box stuffing party’ with some of my moms Florida friends.

You should have seen our hotel room. Imagine 130 boxes filling a room…you barely could walk. Included in our hospitality boxes were: Annie’s fruit snacks, Pirate’s Booty puffs, Nature Valley granola bar, Chewy granola bar, Goldfish, assorted chocolate candy, water bottles, pack of gum, TicTacs, Starburst, personalized sunscreen and lip balm, ‘Just in Case’ kits (including hand sanitizer, Tylenol, Band Aids, etc), Sweet E’s personalized palm tree cookies, and our itinerary booklet (more info on that below), printed at Lavandula Designs.

Below is what went into our itinerary booklet.

No hospitality box stuffing party is complete without wine, of course.

  2. It’s so nice that you put a personal touch on your hospitality boxes… A lot of people don’t take the time to make them special for guests but when people are traveling from near and far for your special day, it’s a nice treat!
