Books and Nooks

I’ve been on a reading kick the last several months, and oh so happy about it. For so long I just couldn’t get into reading. I had all these books I wanted to read or I started, but then stopped. All it takes is a great book, guys. And “The Idea of You” was that book, as I mentioned here. And since I finished that book (which I still think about and want to re read, and I am praying they turn it into a movie!!), I’ve read and loved “Miss You,” “The Overdue Life of Amy Byler,” and now I’m in the middle of “The Wedding Date.” On deck: “Ghosted” and “The Light We Lost.”

I used to say I would never read on any sort of device. I was all about holding a physical book. Until I wasn’t HA! I loooove reading on a device now. Yes, I know it’s nice to flip through pages and the smell of a book etc etc etc, but this is 100000x more convenient. In line at the grocery? I’m reading on my phone. On my couch? Reading on my iPad. So forth and so on. It makes it MUCH easier to read whenever and wherever you are.

Now, with all that being said, I’ve been day dreaming about when we’re in a place big enough to actually make a whole area set aside for a cozy “reading nook.” For now, my spot is on my couch under a cozy blanket. But it was certainly fun to browse online for nooks that I plan to one day recreate. Keep on scrolling and then let me know what books you’ve been loving lately.
