So here’s the deal. I hate doing my hair. I have done the Brazilian blowout/Keratin treatments in the past, but I haven’t lately because that shit is expensive. And it’s not that I have terrible, awful hair, but I certainly can’t just shower and walk out of the house with my hair looking perfect without doing anything to it. While I hate doing my own hair, I do love getting my hair done. I’m not talking up do’s and such; I’m talking simple blow outs.
When Pageboy reached out to me to partner, I think I jumped up and down in my chair and squealed with excitement. No joke. If you haven’t heard, ‘Pageboy brings blowouts to the comfort of your home, office, hotel, or anywhere you want your hair to look its best.’ Think of it as Uber for hair styling. You book and pay for your appointment all within the app. All you have to do is have your hair washed and towel dried before they get there. The stylist will bring all products and tools with him/her.
Pageboy came to my house last week and within 45 minutes, thanks to Anna (she was my fab stylist!), my hair looked amazing and I was set to go for the day. I just sat on my laptop, did some work, all while being beautified. I kind of felt like Princess Kate (but not at all).
Sadly, Pageboy only exists in Houston at this time, so if you don’t live in the H, I’m SORRY!! If you do live here, though, I highly suggest checking out this new favorite app of mine.
Now if I can just get someone to do my makeup on demand. Any takers?
