My Favorite Drugstore Products

Favorite-Drugstore-Products

Drugstore products are my jam. I just LOVE them. And I know I’m not alone in saying this. I do own and love some of my department store products, of course, but when you can get just as good of products at a fraction of the cost, I consider that a major win in my book. So, yes, you can find me at the local CVS or Walgreens moseying up and down the aisles in all my glory. Keep reading for my favorite items from the drugstore.

Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets ($4.89): My skin can get quite oily when it’s humid and hot outside, and these guys are lifesavers. Throw them in your makeup bag, beach bag, travel bag, whatever bag you like, blot your face, and the oil will be gone in seconds flat.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Rocket Mascara ($7.79): For pretty much my entire life (well, since I started wearing makeup at some point later on in high school), I wore Clinique’s Jet Black mascara. I loved it, but finally about a year or two ago I felt I needed a change, so I tried a bunch of different drugstore brands. As soon as I tried out The Rocket, I knew I found my new favorite. It goes on easily, doesn’t leave ‘clumps’ on your lashes, and makes your lashes look longer. I’ve also heard the waterproof version is great, but I haven’t tried that one yet.

Olay Total Effects Revitalizing Foaming Cleanser 7 in One ($10.49): I’ve been using this face wash for as long as I can remember. Even when I switch up my skincare regimen, this product doesn’t change. It smells amazing and it does so much, and I truly have no complaints about it. I leave one in my shower, one under my sink, and it’s just the best.

Jergens Original Scent Cherry Almond Lotion ($3.24): I’ve been using Jergens lotion (specifically this scent) forever. It smells divine, leaves your legs feeling silky smooth, and it’s my absolute favorite (for hands, feet, and body).

NYX Butter Gloss ($4.99): I only more recently found out about these glosses. I actually wore this for my wedding reception in bright red because my makeup artist was raving about it. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed.

Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes ($5.79): I learned about these makeup remover wipes from Aliza Licht’s instagram when she said they were the best ones she’s ever used. I have to agree with her. They are oil free, gentle, and remove makeup easily and very well.

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara ($5.99): I don’t know about you, but my eyebrows can get out of control, so I need something to really hold them in place without making them look gross. This product does just that. Love it. Live for it.

L’Oreal Paris Nail Polish ($5.99): By far, this is my favorite nail polish. I love the way it goes on, it lasts a long time, and the color options are endless. Of course, Essie and OPI are fabulous, but I have to say, for less money and just as good, if not better, quality, try out L’Oreal.

And the drugstore product I’ve been really wanting to try lately is: eos Shaving Cream ($3.99). I keep seeing it, and it looks great. So once I’m over the whole Skintimate thing, which I’ve been using since I don’t even know how long, this is what I’m giving a go.

Guess what? All those favorites I mentioned, if you purchased all of them, it’s under $50 ($49.17 to be exact). Pretty great if you ask me!

Love this post! I am guilty of doing the same thing at Target!! I’m a little obsessed with the Boots No.7 line (quick thinking makeup removal wipes) and Sonia Kashuk (glitter eyeshadow quads)!
