If you can’t already tell from my Twitter feed, I’m in the process of moving, and it’s definitely one of my least favorite activities. I’ve moved tons of times, but it never gets any less chaotic when the time of the pack and move comes. The end result is great, but the process is not something I adore. Regardless of all of that, I can’t wait to get into the new place (it won’t be ready until August, so it’s a two-part move). We bought a loft, and I couldn’t be more excited. Because of my constant moves, my residences have always felt rather temporary. This time, it feels more permanent and I’m thrilled about that. The most fun part will be decorating the loft, and I’ve been looking for inspiration on the daily. Here is a roundup of some images currently catching my eye.

I couldn’t be more excited that you’re moving into a loft! Growing up I always wanted to live in one, there’s something about the soaring ceilings and massive windows that I love. One neighbourhood in Vancouver called Yaletown has tons of converted warehouses and I love that many of them still have the original brick walls. I can’t wait until you’re all moved in in August – I’m dying to see how you decorate the space!

Constantly moving can be such a drag but I’m glad you are finding somewhere that seems more permanent. I love all the spiral staircases, decorating is definitely the best part!
