Hi Everyone! My name is Alison and I write a lifestyle blog called Heart of Gold & Luxury and I am super excited to be here while Julie enjoys some R&R. If you have ever visited my blog before, you might have seen that I really love to bake and cook whenever I get the opportunity. For the longest time I was trying to decide what were the must-have kitchen essentials because it seemed that whenever I started a new recipe I seemed to be missing an important tool. Below are some of my picks on the items that you should have in your kitchen to make life just a little bit easier when you are whipping up dinner or dessert. What are some of your kitchen essentials that you cannot live without?
Chemex Coffee Maker :: A must-have for any coffee lover
Microplane Citrus Zester :: Excellent for zesting citrus for dressings and desserts
Cuisinart Food Processor :: Miracle kitchen tool that does everything from dough to smoothies.
Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons :: Heavy measuring spoons are essential for baking
Marble French Kitchen Slab :: A pretty way to display cheese or to cut pastry dough
Laguiole Steak Knives :: Steak knives that are too pretty not to display
Williams Sonoma All-Purpose Kitchen Towels :: A heavy duty kitchen towel is a must-have for drying and mopping up messes
Maldon Sea Salt:: These beautiful flakes take meals to a different level
