I’m really excited the weekend is here. Tomorrow Matthew and I are heading to Austin for a couple days, and I can’t wait to get away. My plan (and I hope I can stick to it) is to not answer one email or do any sort of work while away. Even though I really do my best to try to disconnect before bed, it almost never works. I go to bed with to-do lists and ideas running through my head, and by the time I wake up I rarely feel I’m completely rested. I always try my best to give my undivided attention to those I’m with at the time, and to truly value each moment. Have a great weekend!
I made Mint Chocolate Brownies for a dinner party this past week, and they were absolutely delicious.
An old file cabinet Matthew purchased at an antique shop will soon be refinished and turned into something new for his mancave.
