Hair Product Crush // Living Proof

Hair-Product-Crush...Living-Proof

Months back I was getting my hair blown at a place I had never been to before, and while the hair blow was sub par, at best, they had a selection of products that I fell in love with…Living Proof. At this sub par salon, I ended up leaving with 2 Living Proof products. Fast forward to last week when I was at my actual hair salon (Fringe Salon and Color Bar on West Alabama and Kirby, which I highly recommend) and guess what?! They started carrying the Living Proof line. I was jumping for joy in my chair. So, of course, after I left the salon (with a new ‘sombre’…subtle ombre do), I also walked out with way too many Living Proof products.

This is, by no means, a sponsored post; I’m merely just sharing the love I have for this line of hair products! I use the following…

Living-Proof

First, I wash my hair (not often, but I do…jokes. I just hate washing my hair, but I promise I do it) with the No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. It smells divine and with this Houston humidity, the ‘no frizz’ aspect of these bad boys is very helpful.

Once I’m done showering and I’ve towel dried my hair, I then put in the Prime Style Extender Cream. Think of this as your base coat for your hair prior to styling it or putting anything else in it.

After the primer, I then use just a little bit of the Satin Hair Serum, which makes your hair extra shiny and smooth (I put this mostly on the ends of my hair).

Once that serum is in, it’s onto the No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray. It blocks humidity and smooths your hair sans yucky buildup.

Once that’s all done, I’ll either let my hair air dry (I’m lazy) or I’ll rough dry it and style it somehow and then top it all off with the Flex Shaping Hairspray.

*Once to twice a week, I will use the Restore Mask Treatment. Not that my hair is super damaged (you guys, I had virgin hair up until last week!), but now that I’m doing the whole ombre (SOMBRE) thing, I need to take extra care. This mask is super easy to use. After you shampoo your hair, use it in place of conditioner and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes while you shave your legs and whatnot.

Now, I know this seems like a hell of a process. But for someone who has never really had a haircare regimen, I promise it’s easy. It takes no time at all and these products are uber fabulous.

And, let’s be honest, if you’re a ‘Friends’ fan, Jennifer Aniston is co-owner of this company, and her hair is kind of perfect. The End.

Funny, we work together and the things we don’t share??? I have been using Living Proof and I also love it….great product. It’s Jennifer Anniston’s line, as you said and she said recently in an article, I read that she bought into this because she thought the products were awesome and she has a lot of input into the line. I think it’s great!!! :))
