Top 10 Reading and Writing Gifts

I love reading. I love writing. I love this gift guide. I’ve pulled together some of my very favorites for those in your life who love to put pen to paper or cozy up with a good read. Lets get into it (and don’t forget to check out my Foodie Gift Guide from the other day!)…

Reading-and-Writing-Gifts_2015

1. ‘It’s the Little Things’ Happy Notes (Nordstrom): It truly is the little things. And this book is filled with inspirational quotes and happy reminders for the special ones in your life. I love that you can easily tear the pages out and give them to your friends and family.

2. 99 Problems but a Baby Ain’t One (Amazon): My bestie’s book! Megan is such an inspiration in every sense of the word, and this book will have you laughing, crying, and then laughing again. SUCH a good read. Go buy it. For yourself or someone else. Immediately, if not sooner.

3. Letterpress Stationery (Mark & Graham): By now, you have got to know how much I love stationery. The thrill of buying new stationery and greeting cards is truly unmatchable (wow, #dorkalert). Anywho, I love the look of letterpress stationery because it’s elegant without being too over the top. And this one, in particular, is modern and I’m actually going to be purchasing for myself. Yep!

4. Marble Spiral Notebook (Paper Source): I actually have stationery in this marble print, and I LOVE it. The colors are perfect together, and let’s be real, you can never own too many notebooks!

5. Love Style Life (Amazon): If you know of Garance Doré, then you definitely know of her book. She’s the most stylish French girl next door, and this book is full of awe-inspiring photos and illustrations. Get this for your most fashionable friend!

6. ‘It’s Written in the Stars’ Mini Notebook (Nordstrom): Like I said above, you can never own too many notebooks. If you’re like me, you’re constantly jotting down notes throughout the day. Love the petite size of this one, and the GOLD. So fun!

7. Five Year Memory Journal (Anthropologie): According to my therapist, journaling is a VERY good idea. I don’t do enough of it, but I totally should. I LOVE the idea of this memory journal, though. Basically, for every day of the year, one thought provoking question is posed for you to answer, and then there are five blank spaces underneath so you can see how your answers change over the course of the years. Cool, right?

8. Leather-Like Stationery Set (AHAlife): I LOVE this set. The look of leather is so stylish, and this is also going to be one of those things I purchase for myself, because #stationery.

9. Oops! (Amazon): My book! #shamelessplug. Get this for the 20something girl or guy in your life who is single (or not). It’s funny, real, honest, raw. Think Sex and the City meets He’s Just Not That Into You. Go buy it! Yeah!

10. Darling Magazine (Anthropologie): This is a quarterly journal that celebrates the art of being a woman. It is 100% ad free. It’s an uplifting magazine with incredible content and beautiful photos. I highly recommend!
